I'd love a remake of BF 1942, although it's more likely they'd do BF: Korea or a fictional Cold War setting. A Battlefield game based on WW1 would not work. That was complete and total trench stagnation, so players would just keep their heads down and hope for artillery points. Simply put, what makes the BF games so fun is the many, many ways of fighting (sniper whoring, C4-jeep whoring, tank whoring, APC whoring, J-10 whoring, noob tube whoring, PKM whoring, etc). WW1 was about hoping to god that your company wasn't the one called up to charge the enemy lines.
