Lately I've been getting the blue and my system crashes so I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled everything but it is still coming up.  My brother said that it is probably my memory that is going bad and then it is corrupting a driver.  I didn't know if this was true.  The error that it gives is it says it is shutting down to protect my system because:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know if this would give anyone any insight but just let me know.  I just didn't know if this was a problem that I could fix or if I should just spend money and take it to a shop.

+1 for any help

Thanks

to check if your ram is ok download memtest 86+ and burn it to a cd. run it for 24h and you can be sure that your ram is ok. usually if there is a problem however, it gets picked up in the first or second cycle.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
