Well since this thread started with a list of a few Arab terrorist attacks I thought I'd list some Israeli terror attacks. Here is a list of terror attacks by the Israeli terrorist group Irgun Tsvai Leumi from 1930 to 1940. This is not all the attacks they committed, just those over that decade. The worst attack carried out by the group was the King David Hotel bombing in 1946 - the organisation was disbanded and it's members recruited by the newly formed IDF (which had until that point been another terrorist organisation known as the Haganah).

One of the leaders of this terrorist group, Menachem Begin, later became Israeli Prime Minister.


    * April 20, 1936 - 2 Arab workers in a banana plantation killed
    * March, 1937 - 2 Arabs killed on Bat-Yam beach
    * November 14, 1937 - 6 Arabs were killed in several shooting attacks in Jerusalem.

For a start the Arabs had not commited any (that I would term as) terrorist activities before the establishment of the state of Israel. Many Jews had been killed by Arabs in unorganised riots and mob violence - which is very different to organised terrorism. The Arabs never attacked the mediatory body who were trying to end the bloodshed (the British).

So really it's a case of some disorganised rioters kill Jews and the Jews respond by covertly blowing them and the British (who merely recognised their right to co-exist with the new Jewish settlers in Palestine) up. That sounds like a fair and balanced response. A lot like the fair and balanced response in Lebannon.

The Zionist movement in Palestine had no intention of peaceful co-existence with the Arabs who lived there. Their policy of economic deprivation of the Arabs took many forms. Property and land prices were artificially inflated and Arabs were deprived of employment - this is what led to the riots and massacres which in turn led to the rise of state terrorism by the Zionist immigrants.

Spoken like a true propaganda puppet. I read sources varying from the Jerusalem Post/Ha'aretz/FOX News through to Al Jazeera/BBC/CNN and draw my own opinions. I saw the interview with the soldier with my own eyes - you would rarely if ever get an Israeli soldier to engage in propaganda against his own country. The fact that he made his comments as a kind of Freudian slip was telling also.

Isreali soldiers Have said ON TV that they(being mostly reservists) Did NOT want to report for duty. Im sure you over looked that Piece of information sir.
