God Help Me Please!!!

My Power Supply fan has been going crazy for a a while now. It magiacally goes away when i take it out and open the side. But right when i put the Side back on it goes crazy again (not the side the supplys against doesn't even thouch)

So, When i put it back in it randomly goes away for a couple days
then out of NOWHERE (not even touchin , just surfin the web) It goes insane.

Its annoying as hell I'm about to buy some aucustic earphones ahh!

any help? (Its not a virus...)

It's not overheating either...

Well that was a helpful post.

Could be the bearing going and when it reaches a certain temp it just huts the shaky imbalance bit.

Well i cant even really get to the fan im in a minitower with a DUal Core tower up to the top so its hard.

bahh. This sucks..

Hit it, trust me it works, its probably the fan that just needs a little sorting, hitting it normally makes mine go quiet again.

Sounds like a great excuse to upgrade the whole PC!

But seriously - just replace the dang thing. If your P/S pops the wrong way you loose it all. And they're getting cheap. Also, I've found it's SO much easier if you buy a power supply & case from the same manufacturer, such as Ultra.

ultil the crap psu that came with the case goes boom Antec is one of the few case makers that has a psu worth running anything over a pIII
