You do know that was a commander score? So it was doubled. Youtube is a good idea, but I think they will be too big for youtube. I've just asked KC and he said the file can go from half a gig up, depending on the length of game. Not sure how to show them yet, might make a small site and let people see them from there. If you want to see them now, pm him and he can give you the details of what to watch from the internode site (I think). At the moment it's easier to post here, we'll sort something else out soon.fl0w wrote:
I've rented a 16 player BF2 ranked server for 9 months now. We play on 64 player maps. Even with well balanced teams, with experienced players, we never exceeded a best round score of 300.
So please convince us!
Yes I know, but it still seams rather high to me.Poisongirl wrote:

Uploading would be a bitch(no offense), but you could -rar the file in pieces and put them on Rapidshare or something like that.Poisongirl wrote:

Don't get me wrong I'm not the 'stats police' or anything. I'm just curious on how to obtain such a score (maybe I can learn something of it).Poisongirl wrote:
nothing sinister there.
Well, I may not be the "genius" that you are but...If you are trying to be hired by a gaming company and to prove your skills you point to the fact that you are the fifteenth best in the world but wait you are reset and accused of cheating. Do you not think that your job offers would dry up. HMMM... I think the laugh is on you now.hilltop_skater wrote:
Dude, What a load of BS how could you not get a job because of this reset hahahahahaahahahahahaahahahaahahMedic875 wrote:
Are there any lawyers here?
Could KC not file a libel suit for hurting his rep. His damages could be loss of job opportunities because of being accused of cheating.
Just a thought.
KC a true load of crap, good luck.
Got that out of my system but seriously How??

No buddy, Suggesting that a job should be made from a game is the laugh, hiring someone for a gaming company is not judged on how well they play bf2, your a clownMedic875 wrote:

There are people who make money from hardware/software companies through sponsorships and what not. They also play competitively and make good amounts of money that way. See Johnathan Wendel for a good example. While Kontrolcrimson might not win with such a lawsuit, it's still a valid argument that COULD be pursued if he wanted to. I'm sure being labeled as a cheater by EA and having your stats reset would affect you greatly in a community like the gaming world where people are highly judgmental.hilltop_skater wrote:

I'm sorry Mr.Spelling and Grammar nazi, i have a broken hand and it takes some effort to type in the correct way. Take that how you may but i think a lawsuit in this matter is totally irellivant.GotMex? wrote:

With the formalities aside, enough with the superiority complex and do your homework next time. And it's not "your a clown" (as your is a possessive pronoun), but rather "you're a clown" (as you're is a contraction for you are).
That's bullshit.rootbeer73 wrote:

Points all dissapeared so we thought he was reset again, but they are back so false alarm. I'm the GF, have been involved with it all so I have ended up venting about it here. I think he should just give up BF2 now, it's just a pain in the ass.
Reading only the first few paragraphs... why the fuck is Volx still not reset then????kontrolcrimson wrote:
Service Stat Reset For Battlefield 2 Account(s): Kontrolcrimson
Your Battlefield 2 account stats have been reset due to the following violation
of the Rules of Conduct and Terms of Service.
Violation: Exploitation of game/service mechanics/scoring system
As outlined, you will not violate the Electronic Arts Terms of Service (or
others using your Account) to gain unfair advantage via the abuse of game
systems or mechanics.
You will not exploit any bug in the Service or in any EA product to gain unfair
advantage in the game and you will not communicate the existence of any such bug
(either directly or through the public posting) to any other user of the
Service. .
You will not do anything that interferes with the ability of other Service users
to enjoy playing an EA game and using the Service, in accordance with its rules,
or that materially increases the expense or difficulty of Electronic Arts in
maintaining the Service for the enjoyment of all its users.
Profiteering in the form of account farming or the reselling of player profiles
is not permitted. This is in violation of your end user license agreement, the
EA Terms of Service and the IGN User Agreement. Player profiles are the
property of EA and IGN and are not transferable either free or for exchange of
currency. This is because that by reselling the player profile, the new owner
of the account cannot be held legally responsible for the terms and conditions
of use since they were not able to accept these terms before assuming the
availability of play. A player profile is YOUR responsibility. You are held
completely responsible for whatever happens to this profile by you or by other
users of the profile.
The Rules of Conduct defines that you may not use features of the Battlefield 2
service for any reasons other than what each feature is designed to do. Any
exploitative behavior and activity is not permitted on the Battlefield 2 service
and is strictly enforced.
Should Electronic Arts decide that the sole intent of the actions on this
account were to defraud other players for personal gain, this account will be
immediately terminated. Battlefield 2 exists only because of its community, and
as that sort of anti-social behavior completely contravenes the spirit of the
game, we will remove it in order to protect the rule-abiding members of the
service. Please understand that any additional violations could and likely will
lead to the immediate termination and loss of internet play of this Battlefield
2 account.
If you feel that this action is unwarranted, or if you wish to dispute the
claims of this email, we ask that you please visit the EA Account Administration
site at http://support.ea.com so that they can review any possible discrepancies
of this event. The Account Admin team is also available at that site should you
have any general questions or concerns about the rule or its enforcement in the
game, as we feel it is important to understand the rule completely before
returning to the game world.

which is odd. I had nothing in the stats to warrent this. God i spent 392hours in a tank, yet the top guy still has his stats.....
I was clean, i hate exploiters with a passion, i report statpadders every chance i get.... Fuck i even supported indianscout when everyone picked on him.
If i had done anything wrong, i woulda been reported to internode so fast, and banned, but no nothing like that has happened.
I was even starting to get my infantry to the point were i could say i was good, i even had more kills than bushviper, without the bunny hoppinh! but no, i was still reset. I hope to set it straight though.......
If not ill build the account up and sell it....
