First off, my pc is a sony vaio rc vgc-rc110g, pretty much stock other than a new power supply and card.My card is a bfi 7900 gt oc which i bought only cause the stock ati x300 that pc came with sucked. I was under the impression that the 7900 would allow me to run on all high setting's but i can't even run on all medium settings without freezing and lagging. So my question is, does the card suck, my pc suck, or what? I've seen many ppl with less powerful cards say that they run on all high and i don't get it. I guess i hoping to find someone with the same card and see if they are having probs like myself.

First of all, good decision to bump up your graphics, the 7900GT is a great card. I run an x300 and I feel I'll need to upgrade soon...

Now to your problem. How much memory do you have installed on the rig? High quality graphics cards definatley bottle neck a system without enough RAM. Its most likley your system, not the card. With that in mind, you'd want to invest in another gigabyte of RAM for the card to run better on your system.

Best of luck getting up to high settings.

Probably not. In reality, you've doubled the memory of the card, from 128mb to 256mb, therefore you'd need to double your RAM to compensate for it.
