I remember KC saying that he was going to get all badges and then sell his account. He has posted it before [over at Node], and I'd wager some knob decided to report him for this proposed future sale. And EA assumed he had, or whatever, and reset him, I don't know.
Either way it is fscked up. Nice guy, earned his points without exploiting, and EA goes and does this like the ignorant fuckwits they are.
He had no intenion of ever selling his account, I think that would have been a joke gone wrong.
I don't think some of you guys are getting the point. You say just go on with playing the game and let it go. Well, how can he go on playing the game when he faces a complete hardware ban eventually? Since he has been reset three times now, and had his rank stripped, the only thing left for them to do is to hardware ban him. If that happens no more BF2 online. Even if he was cheating before (which I know for a fact he wasn't) why would he offer up the battle recorder files for the games on which he was reset again? If he cheated to get those new scores that got him reset, why would he let everyone see him cheat? Anyone is free to view them and see how he got the points that got him reset again, just ask him for them.
So then, there is the proof that he is innocent, but the resets keep coming, which will end in a complete ban.
For those who haven't read all posts here is a summary.
Got 360,000 points reset - no cheating involved, but EA refuses to look at evidence we can provide to show no cheating (replicate the scores and show BR files), stats probably not coming back, so go on with playing, but...
Got reset again twice more, lost rank this time - this time we have the exact battle recorder files for games reset on, EA not interested. Could go on playing, but all EA has left is a hardware ban, if that happens no more playing at all online unless we change some hardware in the computer and have a new account, could do that (but shouldn't have to as he has done nothing wrong), but...
The level he's at means he can get a good score, which means the new acccount will get reset for the same reasons that the old one did, the EA advanced player base has not got the same level of skill someone who has played for over 2000 hours has, so they say it's not possible. So...
If crimson wants to just go on playing the game as you say he should (which he has been trying to do), he has to intentionally play at a level much lower than he can, so he has to let his teammates down and let them lose or ignore pleas for help. The objective of the game is to beat the other team, and I know that's what the majority of players aim to do.
So, recap, crimson cannot just go on and play, as this has become an odd situation which is going to keep on and he is going to end up completely banned, FOR BEING TOO GOOD AT THE STUPID GAME!
