hi guys i have birthday today and got SF... now i have just installed it. but when i try start it, it shows up this error-message:

mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really!)

anyone know what this mean, i've heard i need to patch the patches again, but do that got anything with this to do? help appreciated, Emil.

With installing SF your game is at V1.2 (1.21).
You have to apply the V1.3 patch again.

Then it should work.

You can try unzipping the Shaders_client.zip file into the /shaders/ directory. If that doesn't work, uninstall BF2 and BF2:SF and then reinstall in this order: BF2, BF2:SF, Patch v1.3 Full.

i had the same proble, install 1.3 fixed it
