I've always been partial too Bach, but I like them all. I used to hate classical as a kid but it grew on me as I became more cultured & world traveled.
It usually sooths me & prevents stress build up, of course I can say the same about cannibal corpse.

imo: j.s. bach ftw. it all started with him and it always comes back to him. if you know how to listen - he got it all, basically: exellency of mozart, revolutionism of bethoven, soul-touching of tchaykovsky etc. etc. there are of course "specialists" so to say, like vivaldi and lizst, but, you know, bach's just ALL of them together - and then some.
if you open your mind too much your brain will fall out.

I am more of a Jazz Fan personally but occasionally I will listen to some orchestra and I am a fan of both John Williams and Beethoven

Being a band student, i've played and listened/watched pieces from a few of the composers listed. But I most enjoyed playing a shortened version of Mozart's 9th symphony, and hearing the full version.

Haha, I was looking for that option as soon as I saw this.

Man, there are only three that agree with me on Mahler? That's too bad. His Kindertotenlieder is one of the coolest pieces of music I've ever heard.

Personally, I also like Oroff, Puccini, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi. Bach's cello suites. Mozart for his piano sonatas. Ditto for Beethoven, as well as his symphonies. Copeland. Williams. Wagner.

But seriously guys. Give Mahler a chance.

"I like a bit of the old Ludwig Van" ...Symphony No 7 in A major, Op. 92: II. Allegretto is a great and very depressing piece of music.

I like Bela Bartok too, the master of creepy compositions.

Where is Enescu on that list?  Been to the symphony 3 times in Romania and thats the only thing playing...then go to Kiev for something different...the banner over the door "Georg Enescu Night!".  Crap.
