on it's own.. I was going threw another server in another state and it died. So I tried my home computer and viola it appeared. first time I could in a week.

I'm use Firefox primarily and resort to IE if that doesn't work.
I've had problems accessing BF2S in both browsers.
I have had similar problems with other sites, but BF2S is one of the worst hit.
It also seems to have cleared up for me... for now...

Here is the temporary fix.
Browse to C:/Windows/system32/drivers/etc and open the file titled "hosts" in notepad.
You should see this line at the bottom:
127.0.0.1 localhost
Copy and paste these underneath that line:
64.151.80.188 static.bf2s.com
64.151.80.188 ubar.bf2s.com
64.151.80.188 bf2s.com
64.151.80.188 forums.bf2s.com
Viola, bf2s.com now works again.
