which is why the game was fubar to begin with. Well the first two versions seemned fine to me. but all the kids cried over in balance...which may have contributed to more bugs


it should be 60% better. but wont be perfect

I take what battlefield2.nl says with a pinch of salt - they have often come up with dates for patch releases in the past and been proven wrong.

As for the people saying EA has fucked up again, I don't think so.  Everyone was up in arms when 1.2 came out and introduced a new crashing bug.  Same again for 1.3 .  Now EA is delaying a patch because it's found a new bug and you're all still fucked off.

Give them some credit for learning from their mistakes and by not releasing a buggy patch.

Not in this particular case. They announced they knew what the CTD and/or server crash bugs were about somewhen in... late June? These crash issues ruined the game (intentionally not speaking of the points and awards some lost), to some even to the extent of being unplayable. They did not even confirm or discard the rumors about the problems being caused by the incremental patch.
Other companies do indeed fix stuff like that with a hotfix, because it is worth one. Most of the other sh1t they have on their changelist wasn't urgent, completely agreed. They could have delayed the release of all that stuff. But the crash issues needed fixing.

So, before we start kneeling down to them, let's just wait if the patch is indeed less buggy.
