All of a guns statistics can be analyzed to mathamatically figure "which is the best gun," but in reality it comes down to the feel, sound, sight, and success rate of a gun. I think its a beautiful thing that there is such a wide variety of opinions on weapon choice. To me, that a notch in the win column for Dice.

With that being said, I like like the F2000, but I love the G3.

I don't see the fugliness in the M16.. although I must say its formerly proposed replacement (the XM8) looked way cooler.

It's okay is if has the Grenade launcher attached.

It just seems,out of proportion.It's like an old,ugly man.

M16 FTW It carries 6 mags instead of 4 like all the other guns, and I usually use all 6. It's great for picking off snipers on single shot too.

But it's not my favorite gun, the M249 SAW is my favorite, buttloads of ammo and it's very accurate, I love running into a massive group of infantry and wiping them all out with the SAW, gotta love the ammo

i used to love the weapon, but it failed me too many times when i needed it. I personally feel on full auto that it spreads the bullets too much for my liking.... at least compared to the g3. the grenade launcher is a great bonus, and if anything, that and the flash make it a preferable choice for the assault kit. but for straight gunning, the g3 wins the day imo

You know, the M4 and 16 are essentially the same rifle, just the M4 is smaller and a "carbine" version, but essentially they look the same

Only difference in this pic really, is the M4 stock isnt extended out any, thus being flush against the frame of the gun and it doesnt have the carrying handle on top as the M16 does. Other than that, the scope and the length of the gun, they look exactly the same.

i hate the G3 and honestly don't get how people use it... 20 shots in a clip? i don't care if it does 40 damage, you can kill someone in the same amount of time with either of the AK's, but they have 30 shots

20 shot clip is the #1 reason i hate it... #2 is because it really isn't that accurate, F2000 scope wins all!

I was able to shoot someone from the City Entrance to the Construction Side Top (red thing - sharqi).

It is very accurate, long and short range, you get good amount ammo + clips - even comes with a grenade launcher attachment.

All Three assault rifles are good in different situations, m16 and F2000 are good for longer range, middle distance work, but at close range the auto spreading of the f2000, and the burst fire of the m16 hamper them.

At close range however, the pure power of the g3 is exceptional and without match, it'll easily kill that support player hiding around the corner in karkand, and the medic that dives behind him to revive, and the second medic that dives to revive both of them. Then your clip is over though, so if there's another player just spawned, it's onto your pistol.

If you know the situation is more than three players in a tightly packed group, it's good to take out 2 with the grenade launcher and finish them off with your m16/f2000.

Basically, when you spawn, try to estimate what you're going to encounter, hard work + logic will equal success.

But nowdays the grenade launcher rarely give you those one shot kills due to that you can survive one at your feet or like 1 feet away and it won't kill you.
But it's ok if you wanna be Assault.

I take F2K over M16 sometimes as the damage '16 makes is unacceptable in most situations. Plus, I need automatic fire instead of weak inaccurate burst.
But I don't think M16 looks ugly.

'Better' is as much a familiarity thing as anything. Case in point: L96A1 v. M95. No question which is more accurate yet some people have the option of both but will still pick the M95 because they're more familiar with how it shoots.

The F2000 is a pretty good all round weapon, but it just sounds so damn gay. Not that this should really have any effect on why you should or shouldn`t use it, but it just sounds like a toy gun.
