If there is a god and he or whatever created us humans, he failed in my opinion. We humans just destroy our planet and ourselves.
And I believe simple organisms evolved to create varius creatures as humans. Because it has been during a long long time, its not like over a night. We humans have evolved to what we are now from being apemen in about 3-4 million years or something..
I'm just curius, what are you americans teached in school, darwins evolution theory or are they making you believe god created us?

Well I'm in New Jersey I was taught Evolution, but in some states they are making it illegal I belive to hit the "statis Que" of parents.

God damnit, everyone here should go watch a preview for Spore. That'll answer all your questions about the meaning of life (to evolve into a race capable of making weapons crazy enough to kill everything else in the galactic petri dish).

I have always wanted to dive deep into one of these evolution topics but really what the point everyone is set in there way and no one can convince the other side on which is true - there both theory's - no way to prove or disapprove either - its how you feel and what you believe in
Heres another kicker, I'm a Baptist and a strong believer and I find it very very hard to believe that we came from apes or the same species of apes (I'm not buying into that) but its also hard to think that I and we came from Adam and Eve and then eventually Noah and his family (flood wiped everyone out)
No one is stupid in believing either side (unless you post stupid remarks) they are beliefs thats all and everyone feels strongly in their beliefs and hopefully one day we will know the answer

But in all honesty one side has a much more positive effect in the scientific community. I understand that a belife is a belife but one kinda looks for a more liable option that helps in medicians and the other one seems to me(I really haven't look to far into Intellegent design or creation) that it's the way it is because it is?

true the other side (evolution) does have alot of postive effect, bc we like to know everything - ppl love to learn, love to explore ----- I love to learn and explore and enlighten my teachings but evolution is something I have read and researched but to believe in it, I don'tcpt.fass1 wrote:

I have my own theorys on evolution & creationism and they go along with the teachings of the bible and the research of literature about evolution

Well using The evolutional theory you can validate animal testing(I'm actually against it but it still does serve a purpose) and adds up to all life has a common bond because we all originated from the same materal. Does that help?
if we were evolved from apes then why do we have a patch of hair and a brain instead of what the enviornment affects and makes apes adapt if we evolved from them how are they still around if we ALL came from them. and if evolution is real shouldnt there be some parts of the world that they mid evolved and look like sasquaches.

It's glad to see that not all Religious people are stupid (no offence)
to rephrase that, what i mean is, every religious person that i have run into has been adamant about "god created us, evolution is BS" and things like that. I had one person not even budge when i told him it was impossible for Noah's ark to have occured. But i'm glad that some people can realize, just because evolution is true, doesn't mean that you can disprove the existence of a God (or Goddess)

Its actually really simple.. We all come from the jungle of africa and then a group decided to move out of the jungle to the savannah, where they started eating meat and bonemarrow (dont know if its called that, I used a dictionary) which made the brains grow larger.
