I've reread many of the posts that have been placed here over the last few days, about illegal immigration, Msulims versus Jews, Christians versus Muslims, America versus Europe, etc., etc., in some of which I participated, and in some of which I did not, and there is a shitload of real personal hatred going on.
I may disagree with a lot of you, and you may disagree with me and everyone else, or me and nobody else, but we're all here for a video game, trying to have a good time.
I certainly hope if I see any of you on the BF2 Battlefield that we can just enjoy ourselves without worrying about who believes what, and why. In my opinion as long as you aren't involved in something that will hurt me or mine, or are on a course of action that will lead thereto, all good times.
I'm not going to back off of my views, but I never want it to come across that I harbor any ill will towards any person as long as they are honest in their beliefs and are trying to make what they honestly feel is a positive difference. I drive up to the Malcolm X guys wearing the bowties selling that newspaper on the corner, and I'm in a crew cab diesel pickup with a cowboy hat on, and I give them money, but let them keep the paper. Why? If they're out doing what they think is right, and spreading what they think is the word, as long as they aren't hurting anyone else in the process, go to it.
Call out my government, my state, my ideals and my philosophy. I may do the same to you. However, your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins. Until I am punched I don't punch. My motto is "start no shit, take no shit". I do believe however in the theory of excessive retaliation when it comes to military affairs, and I don't apologize for that. As long as you aren't crossing that line, I'll buy the beer and you can call me an asshole all night. More of this worldwide would probably be a good idea.
