...And after 12 min of ( I already try this...did not work)...I hung up on them...
here the story:
I was playing on my old:
Celeron D 2.66GHz
Asus P4P800-DLX
2 X 512Mb DDR400 PC-3200
SAPPHIRE (ATI) 9600 PRO ADVANTAGE ED
SEAGATE S-ATA 80G - 16Mb
Got sick of it and bought the new PC:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe (Wireless Edition)
2 X 1024 OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz EL Gold Edition Dual Channel Kit
Leadtek GeForce 7600GS TDH(400MHz) 256MB DDR2 (800MHz) Dual-Link DVI-I HDTV Out
SEAGATE S-ATA 160G - 16Mb
So here the deal:
I did format the new drive, install XP Pro, but got stuck on the activation...I called Microsoft to activate BUT the version of XP Pro was OEM on my old PC...went back to the store and $129 later came back with XP MCE.
Install all of my update and drivers...got problem with on-board sound so got back to the store and $35 later came back home with Creative Audigy SE 24Bit sound Card...Re-Format and re-install...Update and driver into my PC...got all my software installed...
BATTLEFIELD 2 INCIDENT:
BF2: Disk One...serial...disk Two...disk Three...all done
Restart
BF2 SF: Disk one...Update 1.1...serial...disk Two...all done
Restart
Go online get EA Downloader...
DL patch 1.3 Full....try to install...NO GO....
Restart
Try again...GOT owned...
Restart
Online on BF2s...DL 1.3...Patch the game fine!!!
Restart
EA download...EF....AF...
Try to install EF...6 times and got upset...went to the Beer Store...
Grab old PC...plug it...Burn the BattleField 2 folder from C:ProgramFiles/EA games onto a DVD...Go back onto the new PC and rename the folder...unpack the folder from old PC into the new PC...
Start the game...FINE...All the Booster are fine and even SF...
Should of stop there...but No...I wanted a fresh install!!!( for no reason at all...)
Delete the BF2 folder...rename the original folder...and call EA Tech Support...Got told that my game had to be un-installed and blah blah blah...Ea downloader should be unistalled and re-installed again...CRAP.
I do that and guess what...SAME F*** Thing happen all over again...
I'M KEEPING THE CD WITH THE BF2 FOLDER TILL I DIE...ITS MORE PRECIOUS THAN 5CD'S FROM EA AND THE DOWNLOADER...
***If some one as beat BF2 on a new re-install...please let me know...I will give all my Karma point away!!!
