I could complain about 800,000 different things in this game probably, but am just gonna focus on one for this post... that being the behavior of server owners and/or clan members on their own servers.
Dudes, you guys are the most visible people in the community when it comes to playing. The way you behave influences others, period. When you bunnyhop and abuse exploits and bugs, not to mention force teamkills intentionally or any other brand of asshattery, you reinforce to everyone that's on your server that all that shit is okay. If you want respectful players and good team games on your server, play like you hope everyone else will.
I have a couple specifics I want to mention in case you ever run across any of these clans and/or people.
1. I was playing on a server the other day and had the jet more than I'm accustomed to. The map ended, a new round started, and I went right for it again cus I doing well. I hopped in and obviously someone had been running after it as well, cus he was sitting right in front of the jet on the runway. I asked him what his deal was and he said I'd had the jet too long and that he wanted it, and he wasn't gonna move from his spot. I got tired of waiting, figuring we'd both just end up being strafe fodder when another jet flew overhead, so I took off, which of course teamkilled him (and he punished for it). While in the air I started a quick kickvote on the guy, who then piped up that he thought it was hilarious I was trying to kick him from his own server. Dumbfounded, I told the guy I couldn't believe he's the server owner and pulled shit like he just pulled.
Anyhow, the guy's name in-game is PC_Judge or some such. I don't remember the name of his server, but if you run across him in-game one of these days tell him Tangy Meat Sauce sends his regards.
2. I played quite a few rounds on the "SAS" (Stars and Stripes) server. Was a lot of fun and we had some great games. I'm guessing damn near the entire SAS clan was on at one point. However, a number of the SAS dudes were bunnyhopping like it was going outta style, repeatedly, and I called 'em on it. The reply: "Stop bitching. Bunnyhopping is in the game and it's not going away." Maybe not, but for you to run a server and not only encourage that kinda behavior, but take part in it yourself, is exactly WHY it's not going to go away until/if EA/Dice patch it out.
