Ok I wanted to ask you guys because for the most part, some of you are really intelligent.  Some are just retarded, not pointing any fingers bubbalo.  Anyway, I have a soundblaster Audigy 4, and a 5.1 surround system.  Now we all know to set your computer to 5.1 to go into sound options through the control panel.  I did this before I switched hard drives and it stuck for good.  Now that I am on this Hard drive, this little bastard loses my speaker setting information everytime.  Its really no big deal but just kinda sucks that if i forget to change it, i cant hear the footsteps sneaking up on me.  Just an annoyance to go in and have to fark with it everytime.  Before all the smartasses get in my asshole about applying it and hitting ok, yes I do that everytime.  Any help would be appreciated.

I always just use Creative's speaker settings console.

audigy 4 FTW

switching a hd would not be a problem, unless the reg keys where on that one, then you must reinstall the audigy software or replace them yourself

reinstalling it takes a short time, so if it doesent help, say it here
