BF2S Forums Iran to hold "Holocaust cartoon fair".

I seem to remeber all sorts of picture, cartoons, tv shows, bumper stickers, t-shirts etc........making fun of Jesus and Christianity. It has already been "tested" and has passed with flying colors.

That's the thing. They were making fun of extremism, not the entire Muslim race, which if I may point out only makes up for 10 percent of the muslim population. It's basically a twisted view on the muslim religion, and is not what 90 percent believe in. Making fun of the entire muslim race? That, even I'd get pissed at. So yes, if they made fun of the entire Jewish race, I'd claim anti-semitism as well.

I don't know if any of the cartoonists were jewish. If they were, this puts a better understanding on this. Feel free to find out and tell me, though. Like I said, it'd put a better explanation on this all.

How many times do you hear about the native indians that very nearly got wiped out? I don't even know how many died, all i know is that it was a shit load. there are PLENTY of truly tastless ( and funny)  cartoons depicting jesus .......and there are no world wide riots and murder and bombings because of them........you will find them if you wanna see them.

I want to submit an Image of the Iranian Leader giving it to Mohammad while Mohammad is blowing Hitler. 

I bet that the Mooslims would riot over that, but the Jews won't riot over the stupid Holocaust cartoons.

(or was it the League of Nations back then) stole the ancestral homeland from these hard-working peace-loving Muslims, but at this point that's all irrelevant. The Jews aren't going anywhere and the Muslims aren't going to stop killing innocent people so we have to make a choice; Roll over and get smoked, or just plain wipe out the Muslims.

Newflash, 95% of the Muslims on this planet get along fine with everyone else. Hell, there are more Muslims in the US then there are jews.

Primacord, 95% of my Mom's right breast was "good people".

The other 5% was a bunch of "violent outliers, not representative of the community as a whole". Probably really it was more like 2%. So, in an effort to save the 95%, it was determined that we should just try to get the 5%, and save those "good folks".

Unfortunately, after trying a "surgical strike" that didn't get every single last "violent cell", the "5% that didn't represent the community as a whole" made a comeback. Pretty soon they were spreading throughout the 95%, impossible to distinguish from the good people from a distance, hidden throughout, and spreading, and becoming an increasing problem for the areas outside "Right Breastville".

The whole Right Breastville community was going to die, and not just that little area, it was going to spread to "Mother Earth".

So the decision was made that unfortunately, in order to save Mother Earth, and the completely neutral areas like "Braintown" and "Leftlegton", all of "Right Breastville" had to be completely wiped off the map, and replaced by a new, non-violent, admittedly culturally quite different, "New Right Breastville".

I'm happy to report that some time later, though I'm sure Mother Earth laments the loss of Right Breastville, New Right Breastville is getting along swimmingly with the rest of the planet, and there are no longer any worries about the violence in that small region fucking it up for everyone.

It's a shame the 95% couldn't control the 5%, but since that's the story, and the surgical strike was clearly (1) risky, and (2) generally ineffective, complete destruction of all Right Breastville cells was what had to happen to save everyone else.

So it's in bad taste....  Who cares?  They have their views on the holocaust.  It is a counter view to mine.  Is my congregation making lynch mobs and trying to string up every one who had anything to do with this?  No.  Why?  Because killing someone because I couldn't handle their point of view is senseless and would prove that I have no control over my irrational emotional reactions.

I wonder if they expected some sort of fanatical response to the fair?  Razing of embassies in foreign countries?  Ridiculous, the lot of it.

You can even send some of those arms back to one of their breakaway provinces so they can be used to kill innocent women and children, and allow the "rebels" ta take entire theatres and schools hostage.
