BF2S Forums What did you do during First Sergeant to Sergeant Major gap

I'm in the gap also, I just revisted maps that I havn't played in awhile and set me some different goals to go after while in this longgggggg hole

Yes, I'm wallering in the same gap.
I'm trying to get time and practice w/ kits I'm not real good with.

Since the two unlocks i chose were the l96 and MP7, i've brought my sniping time up, and i must say skill aswell. I seem to always get headshots, so 1 bullet per guy, which is also bringing in awsome k/d ratios at the end of rounds. Usually getting 16-2, 20-5, stuff like that, which for me is a huge improvement from a .75 k/d ratio. Now i'm getting into support stuff (with a little bit of prone spamming), gets higher scores, similiar k/d ratios.

i'm still in the gap..  i've been trying to master chopper flying.

i just wanted to get the p90 and l96 unlocks.

I'm there too....doing more commanding and practicing flying.  Gonna take a while to double my points, but i'm working on it. Trying to get more medals and badges too.

I just tried to find new ways to play the game, tried gettin vet explosives(not succsefully though) and played alotta different maps.. didnt take me as long as expected..

I'm pleased to say I've made a big dent in my 20k, earning about 11,190 since this time last month, so I only have 8,776 more to go. Then there's the 10,000 till officer territory, which I won't rush to.

I'm in the next larger gap (captain to major) so I can feel with you. Unfortunately I don't have short time awards to go for but this would be my suggestion to you all. To my mind everything (also outside BF2) is much easier if there is a short time goal ahead.

Play on SF maps, especially on Warlord! You'll allways find a lot of very long rounds there which can bring you all the awards with higher IAR requirements plus the specific SF awards. Of course there's nothing to fly there but Ghost Town and Iron Gator are maps for heli whoring similar to Sharqi.

Score: 49,057 of 50,000. At your historical rate, you should earn 943 in 6 days (or 08:32:35 straight).

in the gap this time round.. i discovered Special Forces.. and realised that the maps own more than in regular BF2.

I'm just medic in strike at karkand you'll get at least 60 points (if it's a 64 map and it's full). And you'll always get a bronze medal, silver medal or a gold medal.
