i've got some issues with special forces, for whatever reason my computer does not like that expansion very much. I get some graphics lag during certain situations, and i can hear my comp working harder on those maps in SF when i've never run into this problem with either the orginal bf2 or armored fury (don't have EF so not sure if that would do the same thing or not). Anyway i started playing some SF recently and i do like the way that things like the zipline and grappling hook add to the infantry part of the game. I'm looking to tweak my settings or something to get rid of this graphics lag and occosional jumpiness (can't really describe it more than that). For instance i can't fly the choppers, the screen jumps and is not smooth at all, if i'm in a LAV and turn the turret quickly i jump a bit, doesn't happen with the tank cause the turret turns slower i guess. But the dumb thing is that i don't have anything like this in the other game maps/expansions. Anyway i'm going to stop rambleing now, if anyone has run into this kind of problem before or has some suggestions, i'm all ears. thanks
DUDE, where have u been........expansions (large ones like SF) and mods are more demanding (bigger resource hoggers) then vanilla versions of the game. For example, I play bf2 on Medium settings, SF i play on low, unless it's a 32 player server.
either turn down your graphics settings, i've got the same problem but it only occurs while flying the Apache or Hind.. all i did was turn my down from high to medium on SF.. and no lag, but for Vanilla all my settings are on high and i can fly a cobra with no lag at all..

it's not my connection, i usually avg around 30-40 ping or so. it's just SF, i'll have to go in there and take a look at my graphic settings, cause i run bf2 with everything turned all the way up and never have a problem. thanks for the suggestions
