BF2S Forums Is it the Freedom?

Hmm I suppose some people hate the current legislation. and others may hate the extent of freedoms that we do have. Me personally I hate the fact that we are the worlds police men. I say let the middle eastern countries blow themselves up like they want to. I also think that we should stop outsourcing employment to other countries as well till we can solve our own welfare and unemployment issues. If a company wants to say its American made then we shouldn't be giving jobs to Canadians , Koreans, and Mexicans by having them manufacturing it in their country when we can do it ourselves and employ our own citizens. Sure the cost would be higher but why should we give jobs to people who dislike America. I also hate the fact that we just forget the debts that are owed to us and let other countries have free trade in our country while we get taxed to do so in theirs. I also hate the fact that when we do go to war we have to be polite about it. otherwise its frowned upon, unlike the people we are fighting against who can mutilate and desecrate their enemy then set traps in the dead bodies so when we do recover them, boom, we have more dead to send home. I dislike the fact that we have so many rules to follow in war while the enemy has a free-for-all shooting unarmed women and children in a local crowded shopping area. Instead why don't we just nuke the place turn it into a self illuminating glass parking lot. The end result would be the same if we just let them go, so why not speed up the process. I also hate the fact that we are usually the first on the list when other countries ask for help. And when we do we get criticized for helping. I hate the fact that we open our doors for many people in different countries to have opportunities to come here and receive an education that cant be offered to them in other places. Only to have it slapped back in our face because we didn't know they were terrorists at the time. I also hate the fact that we are criticized for our freedoms. I haven't seen a poll about what  do we hate about England or Spain or Australia. And we aren't even going to talk about the middle east because that would be politically incorrect coming from an American and I would never hear the end of it if I did. Thats what I hate about America.

I agree. Also don't forget stepping off the plane in some nasty country, giving one of the children there some candy or a toy or some other gesture of good will, then listen to them say "I can't wait to grow up so I can kill you americans." It always gives me a warm fuzzy when we actually try to help, but because their parents are exremists and hate everything different they are brainwashed into the same thing.

Kinda reminds me of the Police, everyone hates them, they get all this bad publicity, people just consider them a problem with to large a budget. But who do they call when they have a problem. Then after the Offiecer risks life and limb to "Protect and Serve" they go right back to "That damn pig that pulled me over for driving drunk in a school zone."

I realize most aren't like this, but all it takes is a small percentage of people to ruin it for everyone.

I for one love the US, and have spent the last six years doing my best to defend it, and though everyone is entitled to their opinion, but let's just leave it at that. Also, if you hate the US, just do all of us a favor and move back to your country where you're happy, refuse to work for the "Infidel" and leave us alone. We'll do the same.
