If you already have high speed internet connection not sure if you have to install the router you can just connect the cable right into the box and from the box connect an rj-45 to the computer it should detect the high speed internet connection. Not too sure if this would work but give it a shot.

    A Few Drawbacks
Unfortunately, advanced configuration is not as polished as the initial setup. Although Belkin includes a hard copy of the quick-installation guide, only a PDF version of the 100+ page full manual is included (on the setup CD). Also, the CD has no title menu on its autorun, so the only way users would know the manual exists is if they explored the contents of the CD.
Finally, outside of obscure PDF manual, there is no apparent reference to the configuration Web interface or how to access it. This has obvious consequences for users, the most important of which are security concerns.
Studies have shown that a large percentage of users still leave their wireless networks open and insecure, despite the warnings from networking-industry experts. For example, Belkin users may complete initial set-up, get their network working, and not realize that there is an advanced configuration where they need to enable security.
