Looking at purchasing one of the above.  I know you going to say to build your own its cheaper, don't want to go there... Please help me decide between the two. Thanks

The  XPS 400 upgrade cost would be $1250
includes:
1. Pentium D Processor 820 Dual Core 2.80 GHz
2. 2GB DDR2 533MHz
3. 256 nVidia GeForce 7900 GS Graphics card
4. With Monitor 19"

The  XPS 410 upgrade is $2085
1. Intel Core Duo Processor E6600 2.4GHz
2. 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz
3. 256MB nVidia GeForce 7900 GS
4. 20" Wide Screen (Will this affect game play???)

My question is the difference of $835.00 is it worth getting the XPS410  or save the $$$ and get XPS400.

How much difference in performance will I see between the two if any???

Seeing that the industry changes so rapidly, both will be out of date within 1-2 years or sooner.

Thanks again this is my first post.

Worth it, if you've got the cash.

It'll be faster, and look pretty slick.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.

After looking further at Dell and their software bloat that will probably be a beast to get rid of, can anyone recommend a good computer for BF2 in the $1500-1800 (USD) range?

Saw this one for $1500 at TigerDirect:
Visionman / Core 2 Duo E6300 / 2GB DDR2-667 / Gigabit LAN / 7600GT 256MB / Media Reader / WD Raptor 74GB HDD / WD 250GB HDD / 18X DVDRW / Logitech Keyboard & Mouse / XP Professional
