That logic is why one cannot just "kill the terrorists." One must use some brain power here. Obviously killing terrorists is not defeating terrorism (thats obvious, right?). One must look at the reasons people become terrorists. I am sure when I say that there are bad people in the world, without a doubt. For them no rationalization or logic will work. However, a large percentage of terrorists and terrorist attacks can be stopped. People have to take away their reasons for becoming terrorists. What would make you blow yourself up? Seeing foreign troops in your country, doing whatever they want? Opressive governments dictating where you go, when you go there, how you go there? Economic action that leaves your people without any type of life except for doing anything you can to get by? Yes, I saw the alleged terrorist plot, and no, I was not fearing for my life. Granted, I was not on a flight from the UK to the US, but come on now.
