Im having alot of stutter lag problems at the moment, now I know its not my Ping, because that about 20 normally.

But I run Fraps and my FPS is about 30 in game, now is the good? and what your game running at?

I have most of the Graphic set to medium and low.

My PC spec are -

AMD 2700+ Barton CPU

2 GB or ram

6800GT 512mb graphics card.

I consistantly get 25 FPS on all low settings with a 100% draw distance with my x300.

With fraps, it dips to between 15-17 FPS.

All things considered, I think your system is okay. Your better off than me.

Edit: Other system specs.

P4 @3.4 GHZ
1GB RAM
Display: 1024x768 @ 75 GHZ

I have a 3400+ with a GB of RAM and a 6800GT and I get 50-60 FPS with a combination of Medium and High Settings at 1024x768.

How can you tell your fps in game? Does the newer monitors tell this in the settings?

My fps is around that too and dont use fraps to check fps, type renderer.drawfps 1 in the console

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Hmmm I wonder whats causing all the problems Im having then?

Its not FPS or my internet connection,

Must just be BF2 then its f**ked, I hope Patch 1.04 sorts it out.

In the game, drop the command thingy down by pressing the thingy button above tab and left of yer 1 button, tilde is it? I dunno...

Anyhow then type into there

renderer.drawfps 1

and lo and behold you will get a wee red number up in the top left of your BF2 screen, there's yer FPS

Yep have done that about 6 times, since I started having problems, but still no luck.

My ISP is Pipex over here in the UK.

That all depends on the Keyboard that he has, the ~ Key on my keyboard is next to the Enter key, the ¬ is next to my 1.. Meh, pointless post really, but I thought I may as well say

It doesn't play 'right' at less than 50-60 FPS. If you're getting less than that turn your graphics down and you'll end up playing better.

Really - when I was running a 7800GTX (256MB) I only got about 35-45 FPS with settings on high. What res you running it in?
I was running 1650x1080.

i sit at about 50-70 FPS, and its smooth. But in the first few seconds of recording in fraps its a bit laggy, but i always cut out the laggy parts.
i run the res at 1024x768 at 65Hz
