And then there's Laos. While seemingly successful, you need to remember that most of Laos's wealth comes from the sale of poppies (ie heroin). And the sale of illegal narcotics is the most efficient example of unbridled capitalism in the modern world.

Yes, so lets make up some bullshit of Iraq having mass destruction weapons and "liberate" them. Ever thought of that certain countries have it better the way they have? It might seem cruel to us, but what do hindus think of our bbqed beef? do they break out and free the world from the evil beef consumers?

democracy does not work in countries where you've had an other system going on. It would be the same as seperating a baby from it's mother and saying "you are free" now go ahead and starve.

And back to topic, placing Israel where it is was a mistake maken by the U.N. They took away from palestine and gave away to Israel. Placing jews next to arabs was like taking a torch into a powder magazine, they should rather have given them a state in the USA to live

well what if it was christians who were persecuted and now lived in Israel? The arabs would be going nuts. Israel was created due to it being a promised holy land to the jews, as they have had a presence there (not neccesarily the majority as they were conquerd by arabs previously) for thousands of years, whereas giving them a state, well theres less reason to do that and how many americans would like to be evacutaed from their state for "immigrants"

i wouldn't say that it is israel doing what america won't do.... it's israel doing what america CAN'T do.... I think they are cockblocking any cease fire to let israel act as a proxy for them to get revenge on hezbollah which was responsible for the killing of over 200 american marines in '83......

so, i guess you can say we have the power to stop it, but we wont. revenge may be a little late, 20 years in the making, but we will always pay back what we have recieved.

Have a good trip. And be sure to register with your consulate, so when you go missing they know roughly where you were when you got kidnapped (especially in Cambodia).

j/k, I've heard Vietnam is actually a pretty cool place to visit. That being said, their tourism commission is having some issues in both the US and France overcoming, ah, institutional hatred.

And if they offer you anything cooked with Nuk Mam in Vietnam, politely decline it. You really, really don't want to go there.
