I have tv'd 3-4 things in a row, then the pilot line me up and no matter how many times I click, the tv missile will not shoot. Im not out of missiles, that I know of. How many do you get anyway? Someone mentioned it was a bug but I look like an idiot with a perfect shot and I have to resort to the chain gun. Is it a bug or am I out of missiles? If the latter how can I tell?
If I'm right in thinking that there are 4 TV missiles per wing/arm of the chopper, after 4 have been fires, the chopper must change pods. Thats my belief anyways

Theres are 4 per wing. Sometimes they glitch and you gotta double reload them, sort of like the reloading bug guns have.~Smokey~ wrote:

Pub ownage in a heli typcially isnt difficult especially if the enemt chopper crew doesnt have a clue. Go play FHM dalian 24/7 or pure evil dalian....really test your chopper skills.

Another thing dont ****ing hover, for gods sake dont hover. Slide, barrel roll w/e...just dont hover when fighting another chopper or when in range or height of an enemy tank.
Last but certainly not least, situational awareness. Ok i'll note 3 things a chopper pilot can do to increASe there situational awareness....A) Set your mini map to the largest view by pressing N. This way when i spot tanks, chopper etc... out, you can see them. B)Dont fly low, you cant see much and your flares are very ineffective. C) Please read the in-game chat, when I spot objects out, head towards them, i'm not spotting em out for kicks and giggles, attack them!
APCs are fighting machines. They are supposed to be near (or on) the front line, blasting hell out of the enemy. They are NOT supposed to be behind the last flag, repairing artillery.
If I ever get you as a gunner, I will go and cap a flag immedately, then red zone you. I will constaintly fly backwords to prevent you from ever even attempting a TV shot, and if I see an enemy chopper I will turn away and hover.

I have no patience left for this game. if I dont know the guy in the gunner seat i'll dead zone him. I dont have the patience to sit there as he shoots his mini gun at a tank and takes forever to shoot a tv at the chopper, only to find he has no idea how to guide it. I used to feel bad for dead zoneing people, i rly could care less now, since they'd do the same to me if they could.

there killing themselves actually. When you dead zone a guy its as if he suicide and you dont lose a single point. Another great tactic for clearing a chopper pad full of campers, is to get a jeep and drive at the people and just as you hit them bail out, jeep kill them, but you dont lose any points, once again its as if they suicide. The Cobra doesn't have a chain gun, it's a gatling, don't get them mixed up. The LAV25 has a chaingun.
