I've just ordered my e6600 conroe and all new shit like ram, mobo, gfx, etc..

Now I have a new question to put forward to the gaming community of BF2S.
What is a good case that is not really heavy, because i take my computer to work a few days a week.
It must have good air ventilation, and if possible, a side door that is see-through.

I have a few in minds, tell me what you think of these if you have no input yourself for other cases:

Thermaltake Armor (Alloy/Aluminum) ?
Thermaltake Armor JR (Alloy/Aluminum) ?

I currently own a Raidmax Samurai 908 Silver Aluminum,
think that is good enough and i am just being paranoid?

I have Tuniq Tower 120 for cpu, and Zalman VF900cu for gfx card cooling.

Help?

[ps. no ninja i am not getting the gigabyte aurora]

To small, everything would be tight as shit, and for such a small case, its the same weight as a aluminum full size  case.

Thanks for that.

Karma for all successful helpers.

Man, that's gotta be really hard on a rig hauling it around so often.

Too bad you couldn't have built one of these:

At least it would be easier to haul around....

I bought a Thermaltake Shark when I built my new comp. I was considering either the Shark, Armor, or Armor Jr. The armor was just too big in the end, so between the shark and the armor Jr, I chose the shark. Main reason was I have my comp in my room and I leave it on at night so the light from the front fan on the armor would keep me up. Armor Jr. Looked bad ass though so I'd recommend both.

Thermaltake, thermaltake, thermaltake.

I have owned a TON of cases and these buy far are the best.  I also build computers for people and 99% of them I build around thermaltake cases.

I recomend getting one with a side window.  Not for astetics, most of the side window cases come with side intake fan(s).  They blow directly on your cpu and video cards and help a ton with cooling.

Get aluminum.  It disapates heat better (Not a lot but more) then steel and is a lot lighter.  It won't take as much of a beating, however, you shouldn't be beating on your case

Hope this helps.

I generally don't like Lian-Li cases, but I really like their V series.  Here is the V1000B.

If you need something larger look at their V2000 series.

For outright portability, maybe something like the Lanboy.

Armor and Tsunami are both very good cases.

Lian li makes one of the lightest cases with the best air flow out there. I have two of them and they have been better than any other case I have owned. Also all the nice little touches like rubber molding around sharp edges really puts them over the top.

LOL...you just had to say it anyway.

I was actually thinking about this case, but I saw his PS to you at the bottom, and that went out the door.

I saw a really nice case down to CompUSA.  I can't remember who made it, but there is a hinged door inside the side panel area, and it can house 4 x 120mm fans.  It's a real beast size wise though.  Wouldn't want to have to haul that thing around.

Edit:  I found it.  It's made by Cooler Master.

the thermaltake armor is a TOP notch case.  I wish I purchased it.  My co-worker did, and it is working quite nicely.  That being said, you may want to look at the armor with a built in water cooling system (radiator in front of case) or at least the one with the bigass fan mounted in the front.

The beauty of that case is airflow - it has it in droves.  Don't cheat yourself w/ the Jr.  Get the daddy armor.

meh, looks sturdy enough.  If you're going to do a lot of moving/LAN parties, that seems like as good a way to go as any.

Make sure you seatbelt your computer in when you're driving.  No, I'm serious.  What?  Stop looking at me like that.

For what the case is, it's expensive, and i don't need a power supply, so i am still deciding whether to get a Thermaltake Armor aluminum and attempt to drag it to work, or buy the thermo Armor steel, and just leave it at home and make piece with the 2ghz celery computers at work..
