I've been having problems with my ram on and off for the past coupla years. I have three slots, two are green, one is blue. I recently ordered the correct ram from newegg. Both are 512. I put the two identical 512's together in the green slots, and put my old 512 in the green slot. They both fit fine, but it only detects my old ram, is there something I need to change in the BIOs? Do I need to post more specs? Please help.
Post more specs please, mainly what PspRpg stands for.
Please stop playing Really poor games. When I first thought of it, it was Playstation Portable Roleplaying game. But I thought the first one was more interesting. Anyway. What sort of specs?
Damnit, i forgot how to get to BIOs...Can anyone tell me?
Boot up, press F2 I believe, or F12? Something like that.

depends on the motherboard psp, some are DEL, some are F2, F10, or F12
We can only really help you if you post your specific hardware. All hardware is different and so are the problems they have...
Okay, one of the sticks just will not be detected, it's saying I only have 512 RAM, this is starting to get gay....
PSP, remove the one you put in the blue slot....which i believe was the original stick you had and see if it recognizes the 2 other sticks in the 2 green slots
The old ram is gone, and both new ones are in.
how is the machine reacting to just the 2?
F2 is becoming standard...I hope more go to it.{BMF}*Frank_The_Tank wrote:

My say from tooooo many years experience...old ram is bad. Try just the new ram in same colored slot then in #1 #2. See what that does for you, then try the old ram in #3. The odds the the old stuff is blown. If you have a 3 slot board, they tend to run tandum and not parrallel. Then try slots 1+2 and then #3 with the old ram. I don't recall any that run paralel on a three slot board.
