for the sake of argument I'm going to say that often his words are twisted. He said the most effective solution was to do away with the zionist govt. In some ways I agree, a more considerate, impartial and controlled entity needs to govern Israel, and the state of palestine

I really like the idea of removing the aggressors - we can replace them with Iran's ruling party - right!!!
Oh!, stupid me - after reading your bullshit I almost forgot that Hezbollah committed and act of war and terrorism that kicked off this new round fighting.
Sometimes you guys get your heads wedged so far up your collective asses you'll never see daylight
Better idea - return the kidnapped soldiers, stop firing rockets at innocent civilians, and act like civilized people and negotiate... No! sorry, can't do that because it wouldn't be in line with Iran's plan to wipe Israel off the face of the planet - now would it. Let terrorist keep doing this and next it'll be your turn!
Kaboom.
Exactly, thats why right of conquest was effective in the middle ages, once land was conquered by a country, they kept it until someone could conquer it off themusmarine2005 wrote:

What about the USA's disproportionate response to 9/11 ? I mean we only lost 3,000 people right ? We ended up killing upwards of 45,000 people and invading 2 countries . Was the USA "itching" to kills some Arabs too ?Ikarti wrote:

Ignoring of course the fact that they killed 3 other soldiers in their raid and as a diversionary attack used katyusha rockets on the civilians in Shlomi injuring several. Then in their response to retrieve them an Israeli tank hit a Hezbollah mine killing 4 and then one more shot while retrieving the bodies. All of this occurring before any Lebanese person was harmed. Then the direct response to this sequence was the bombing of the airport and the power plant. Only this can be considered the response to the killing and kidnapping of the IDF soldiers plus the 5 related to the tank. The conflict you see today has nothing to do with the raid now and everything to do with Hezbollah escalating the violence attacking Israeli citizens.Ikarti wrote:

So is bombing infrastructure in response to Hezbollahs acts of war killing of 8 IDF soldiers disproportionate? I hardly think so.. of course you can try to portray it as such by not mentioning the 8 dead Israelis and represent the entire conflict to be based on said event.
No, Israels response is still going on. If its the reason you start a fight, your response isnt over til the end.ﻍﻏﺱﺖﻇﻸﮚ wrote:

Ohh I see how it works now
So here how a similiar situation goes
I step on your toes so you slap me in the face then I kick you in the shin and you decide to cut my balls off
would i tell the cops you cut off my balls cuz i stepped on your toes?
Use common sense they are responding to the rocket attacks in Israel not the kidnapping..
