Stop upgrading your video card until Junary '07.. DirectX 10 - You'll have more cash saved up by then and you are future-proof'ing yourself for a GOOD long time!

but if you do wait till January by then it will be cheaper to get a slightly older Dx 9 card rather that a brand new Dx10 card which will most likely be very overpriced. And even then you'll still just ending up wanting a newer, faster card a few months later

if i need a new pc now, how will i spend the time to jan without a gfx card?
