I have been trying to play for over an hour and can't get past the account screen!? Can anyone help me? I played all last night and now it just sits there and when I go into task manager I get "not responding"
Maybe a Firewall is blocking Access to the BF2 Account Server?

There's a thread in BF2-Chatter, it would seem the account servers are down, or just wait a long time until it logs in.

Oh, so the account servers are maybe down? I was paniced thinking some how my system was taking a dump on me because I didn't see any posts about this, and I went to EA and they didn't have any messages about problems. thanks
