Was just wondering if anybody could recomend a server for new players to cut there teeth on.

My m8 has just gotten the game and he gets worked over pretty hard on any server he goes on, i figured there must be a noob server somwhere.

Have some Karma new guy - and welcome to the forums.

Start off with a smallish server like 16 player, then build up in numbers.
Join a squad is the best advise - Strike is a good map to cut your teeth on.

I actually recommend going on full servers. That is how I started out. You eventually learn tricks off very experienced players. Just join a squad with the most people and stick to them like glue (if they are actually a good squad), stay low and be careful in wide open areas when there are jets or helicopters around.

I found that learning stuff from being pwned is much better than sticking to other servers full of new players. I admit his stats will suffer, but he'll make it up if he is prepared to get pwned more.

Well thats the advise i give. I hope he does well

Crow Karkand 24/7 is the noobest server ever. even privates will get more then 20 points. as you can see, that is why i went there to film my pimp cane video, because i was running short on time and needed the kills quick, otherwise it would have been filmed on karkand 24/7 ESF clan (my clans server), which is where paddle happy was filmed.

if he wants to save his stats initially and not start a second account later to offset the initial suckage of being new, I might recommend unranked servers.  He'll still get his ass kicked maybe, but at least it won't rack up a 1/100 KDR.
