Okay, since i've been seeing 3697267902 topics asking 'wtf is this "You Owned?' or 'wth is [+1]?'" i decided to make this topic with this title so that if ANYONE searching will see this topic, now, down to business.

NO, THIS IS NOT A TOPIC ASKING WHAT [+1] SO READ THE TOPIC BEFORE YOU FLAME!

These are all examples of Localization editing. How do i do this you might ask? Well, there are a few tutorials out there (one which i wrote) OR there are some packs out there that people have put together that are ready for you to just download and install. Use the PNG image, not the JPEG. PNG makes the text easier to read because of the way it uses lossless compression. JPEG will make sharp edges not look so great, but works better for a real-life photo because of it's smaller size.

And yes, format has alot to do with quality aswell.

BMP > JPG > PNG > GIF

God, I found this screen of mine, looks clean as, but I cant figure out for the life of me how I got it

Anyway, good work on putting this together, I had a customized one ages ago, and whenever my mates get BF2, I pimp their localizations

Infact, I joined BF2s just so that I could ask a question about this in a thread describing how to do it

heh. ooooooooooooook. I use PNGs mostly because if you keep re-saving a JPG, making minor edits in PS and whatnot, the quality goes down.
