Me and my flatmate had a good debate the other night after the pub, want to know what other people's opinions are
Lee was ranting on about some bloke he semi knew that was in the pub "He's an idiot, asshole etc. I can't stand him I really don't like him, he deserves a good beating, he should change his attitude etc" You get the idea I hope.
Now my opinion on this is IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SOMEONE THEN THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM,(obviously physical mental harm to a family/friend is different but based on personality a bloke you kind of know who has done you no harm) let me explain
If you do not like me that is YOUR problem not mine (unless you decide to make it my problem physically or mentally), I am me, I have my own opinions, my own personality, my own beliefs, my own tastes if you do not like that, then tough, that is your problem, why should I change just to make you like me.
Which I put forward to him
Lee then argued that this is true about everyone (the bit about everyone being individuals) but how come some people just annoy the shit out of you and some are your best mates, so the one's you don't like are the ones with the problem not you, that it must be their personality etc. that causes you to not like them.
But surely we are gonna meet loads of people through out the course of our lives you can't like all of them as much as you try to. So I still stand by my arguement of above that it is your problem if you do not like someone, we are all individuals and have the right to be ourselves (If they had absolutelly no friends then yes I may agree that that person may have the problem)
We argued this for ages
Anyway don't know if I've explained myself properly but what do people think, opinions please
