Hey, until I get an upgrade, which is in a while, I wanna run some pretty decent FPS and Graphics without everything on low just to run max res, so I ask you

Which is a better comprimise for good FPS/Eyecandy

Low Resolution, with high grapics
or
High Resolution, with all low graphics

My system can handle both, but not at the same time [Radeon X700 SE 512 - 1G DDR2 Corsair Ram]

What is the perfect balance of both?

Higher resolution, turn down the effects and whatnot.

Higher resolution will give you better quality imaging.  I don't know what you are running or have your stuff set at now, but start your settings off at medium, and no AA.  Just adjust from there to get a good frame rate.

get Fraps or have BF2 show your framerate to help you get a good idea for what your system can handle.  Type the following into your console exactly (case sensitive)

renderer.drawFps 1

Im going right now with a comprimise of Medium Res and Meduim Graphics, works pretty well

High Resolution, and High Geometry, Geometry makes things appear at greater distances and resolustions is well yea.

its not case sensitive.
Everyone's gotta be a critic these days...haha.  For me, it's always had to be typed in exactly like that.  Maybe my computer is special *shrug*
