I say Ronald Reagan.
Damn, this is one time I'm glad that negative button doesn't work!
He was a visionary; Berlin Wall, Missle Defense, Trust but Verify.
I just wished he would have dealt with Hezbollah when they bombed the Marine barracks. With bombs.
These people aren't dumb, if another Reagan type was elected they would sit tight like they are now.
Its only a matter of time till another split ticket ( Bush/Perot ) lets a clinton sneak in. Then theywill be right back on our soilth more attacks. They realize 911 didnt work in their favor and they have adapted to it. They can adapt again.

Admiral Nelson or Churchill for England.
Nelson.
"2005 marks the bicentenary of the The Battle of Trafalgar, the facts of which are well known to most. Less well appreciated is the strong Scots element in Nelson’s fleet. Over 30% of his 18,000 men were Scots, 5 of his 27 captains were Scots."
Churchill
"Scotland played a worthy and distinguished part in the war and at no moment was there the slightest weakening of her national purpose or energy. The Clyde was …an invaluable outlet to our ocean lifelines. Scapa [Flow], the Clyde, Rosyth were the bases of the Home Fleet. Scottish fishermen fed us faithfully…. Thousands of Scotsmen joined the Minesweepers and the Royal Air Force. The Merchant Fleets never daunted in their grim task of braving the U-boats…Scores of thousands of Scotsmen served in famous British regiments."
