It's burning up over here - must be at least 23oC in the shade. Darn those long hard Irish summers.

I used to live in Palm Springs man, I feel ya.  120-125 and 95-100 at night.  All you really need is a good fan and a pool.  Right now i'm at work, so AC is on, but at  home, I have the fan and AC to keep me cool.  Sometimes 2 fans if the heat is just blazing.

How is 23 celsius even close to burning up? That's a cool April morning in Texas! LoL

Puckmercury will agree 100% with me here, the humidity in Indiana gets pretty rediculous.  Yesterday it was about 100% humidity, and was 104 outside.  Luckily my AC hasnt crapped out, considering its gone out 4 times so far this summer.

hot in Colorado as well & we have 4 other states mooching off of our water. We need to covert all cars over to vegetable oil or something to stop the rampant loss of ozone.

100% agree.  That being said, my first job when I was 13 was working on a goddamn hog farm ... on the roof of the barn ... with aluminum roof shingles ... prying them off with a crowbar ... one ... by ... one.  3 years.

My step father wanted to recycle the metal and burn the rest.  I realized, metal doesn't burn ... much.  Sooo, I burnt the barn down to save the extra step and harvested the molten metal afterwards.

Yeah, now I work IT.  I know what real work is ... and I know I don't want to do it.

It's 88 degrees F here (at 7pm est), but "it feels like" 99 says the weather. Tomorrow it's supposed to hit 99F. But I am downstairs with just one fan on so I'm mostly cool. I used to live in a 3rd floor apartment and it got so hot stuff in the freezer melted.

Upper 90's today in the panhandle of Texas.

I know what you mean about the heat in 29 Palms, CA.  I grew up there.  My dad was stationed there for most of my childhood.  Was master instructor at C&E school up until like late 80's early 90's.  He's still there but is now an IT Tech with the school.  So hot one year they fried an egg on the sidewalk.
