Israel, Should it even exist?

Just thought i'd start a post about the existance of the Israeli state to see what everyone thought about it.
I personally think that Israel is a country made from land stolen from the palestineans with no reason other than, "the jews just went through the holocaust and they need a place to stay" I think what we did when we made Israel was wrong, and at the very least someone should apologize for just taking land that didn't belong to them from people that did nothing wrong.
Post some opinions, comments, etc.
I'm interested to see what there is to be said about it.

Yeah, uhm, there was no 'Land O' Palestina' The land was under British control at the end of WWII.

The Hebrews were there first, long before it was Palestine. So technically, one could argue that they were simply reclaiming what was theirs anyway.
