OK, im in the market for a new graphics card sooooo. I was wodnering what kind of graphics card will run BF2 on high. Im thinking something around a 7800GT but not positive so i came to the best. I have 1gb of ram and a 5500 :*(. lol i need to upgrade .
i have 7600gt 2.5gb ram p4 at 3ghz no overclocking all on high
wow, u can play SF with a 5500?
Sweet man, I got same card as you but only 768Mb of RAM but I just can't play SF.
I'm gonna go for a 7900GT, better chip, minimal price difference

I just found this a few minutes ago...

It's German but you should easily be able to read the numbers X-D
They used all on high...
(But remember to keep a fps buffer because AF and EF usually run slower... at least with my current rig)

Remember people, at this point the 7x00 series is just a step up point to the G80. It's not that they will be faster cards (well, they will), but that they will support Shader Model 4.0 and DirectX 10, among other things, and that they aren't too far down the road. At this point therefore, I recommend either the 7600GT or 7900GT. Preferably 7900, as it will have more resale value if that is what you are planning.
