- What graphics card do you need to run bf2 on high?
I believe a 6800GT
it gets laggy and blurry because of adrenaline
I have a Radeon X850 XT 256 MB and I can run everything on high.
i have a 7800GTX and i have all on most on low for more FPS and i can see better, moer light, less dark, good graphics are for HL2, dont need them for a FPS
radeon 9550 256mb ftw

i have eVga 6800 256 mb and run everything on high with no problems
It doesnt matter what card you have your screen will always go blurry when hit by arti or near a tank, you can never stop that unless you screw around with the games code then you would be hacking. I have a bfg 7900gt oc and i gotta say my game play runs real clean and the grafix is bad @ss.zer0fus10n wrote:

specs: amd fx-57 cpu, bfg 7900gt oc vga, 550ultra x-connect psu, 2gb ocz gamer extreme memory, 1 wd raptor harddrive, zalman cooling for cpu & vga, running all on a samsung 1200nf 22" crt monitor.
Nvidia 68 or higher. me personally i have dual BFG tech 7900gts in sli. works like a charm
have a watercooled, overclocked 7600GS, works like a charm on all high, however im upgrading to a 7900GT, if anyone has any feedback on that card, it would be appreciated.
Well i have the the ATI Raedeon 9550 i can run everything on high but i still prefer to run on low but crank the view distance up to a 100% and that works fine for most of it
me got Quad sli running all good with new drivers problem is server dont last long enough to enjoy 2gb of vid card
i have gforce 6800 ultra
xfx 6800gs sli
im surprise that you dont know that is a BF2 feature when ur too near explosionszer0fus10n wrote:

ATI-X300SE. Run at about medium settings with no lag at all.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
NVidia 6800GT or above.
ATi Radeon X800 or above.
You should be able to run all high with those.

Ati x600 runs all on high but i prefer medium get a nice frame rate of about 60 with that setting stick it on high and the frame rate drops between 20 and 30 fps!!!
That's actually true. I had a problem with my "new" mobo and could only run AGP on 1x so I had to turn almost everything to low. Shadows and most of the smokes didn't show and I was surprised what visibility I had. Was easy to see the enemies. Also their shadows (only time) would actually show through walls if they were behind a wallMr.Casual wrote:

It hit me that perhaps many "hardcore" players use these settings, I considered them a little as cheating though. After getting the AGP to work I turned up the settings to normal levels because I like BF2 also because it have beautiful graphics and I prefer that over being l33t
