I need around tree fiddy.
he wants the glory for himself!!!!! Get Em'!!!!
That's a completly unrelated situation. Mine is what if Whitey never got here..
than it would probably be japanese, funny note how the spanish-spawned mexicans are now trying to claim being "native" as well
That is funny, they just passed a law in PA that makes house and employeeing illegal aliens. But you really thing it would be japan? Ok let me refraise the question then, what type of modern sociaty do you think the American Indians would have created??
Alpha,
Europeans did take out Natives because the people who settled here are of European decent.

But you "Americans" back then called and probably felt "American" yes Europeans came to America, the east coast, probably took down some Indians there, but Europeans never moved to the west. you Americans defeated England, The French lost there land. Americans moved west and took the west from the Spanish and the south from Mexico. and what happened to the Indians when Americans moved to the west....well what do you think...
So do you have an idea of what an Indian owned land would be like?
And if the Europeans never landed, there never would have been "American's" so like it or not it's your fault, American's had European belifes..

who said we were almost wiped out,
it is funny tho that we would invade iraq cause saddam was killing 1000's of his people..
hell the US Govt wipped out an estimated 20M natives yet nothing ever happened to them..
native communities are making a come back tho..
ours is 30k+ strong...

you can't blame all Europeans, dude seriously, yes Europeans landed there, so what ? the human race was discovering the world and Europeans found America............you blame us for that ? or what.cpt.fass1 wrote:

Giving the western states to the indians isn't the same thing as the indians having resisted invasion completely. Discussion of this there would be a derailment of that thread.DonFck wrote:

As to this topic, if old South American culture had survived the bloodshed that wiped a good portion of it out, indian technology may have been such that they would have landed in Europe, rather than the other way around.

BFROE|IndianScout really? 30k strong is that pure bread or 1/12th considered? I'm just wondering because I don't know.
And ^*AlphA*^ how could europeans discover a land that already had people on it? Way to come in second. I'm not blaming anyone, I'm asking a question what kinda sociaity do you think the original American's would have? If you have a thought on that please answer. And American Indians are not consider part of the Human Race way to be a raciest
thank you

each tribal nation has their own requirements for enrollment into the tribe, ours is ½, some are ¼..
not only do you have to prove blood quantum, but have to prove lineage and have other family that are enrolled..
DNA and other crap dont work..

Yup it was a society Based on living with the land, and say the Europeans didn't discover it? What kinda progress do you think the Natives of this land would have made by now? Indianscout please your input would be most beneficial in this discussion..
European's didn't know anything about a lot of the world back then.

Abraham Lincoln...
In 1862, President Abraham Lincoln ordered the execution, by hanging, of 38 Dakota Sioux prisoners in Mankato, Minnesota. Most of those executed were holy men or political leaders of their camps. None of them were responsible for committing the crimes they were accused of. Coined as the Largest Mass Execution in U.S. History. (Brown, Dee. BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE. New York: Holt, Rinehart, Winston, 1970. pp. 59-61)

cool Indianscout I love learning things, does that mean you have a part in a casino?
I know exactly what america would be like. the only man made structures would be casinos and trailer parks, and the only car manufacturing company on earth would be hummer. no really, it would. in my town there is one of the largest casinos in the country (not counting vegas) and all the native americans like across the street in a huge trailer park, and at any given time there is 40-50 hummers sitting in front of all the houses.
Everyone knows its true, they just dont wanna admit it, so please, continue flaming as you were.

indian nations while alot of them do have casinos ours included, provide much needed employment to communities who's unemployment rates average about 45-80%
most tribal nations dont get rich off the casino's like the public seems to think we do, nor do we all get those "free" govt checks another myth..

dude i know you guys dont get the checks, which i think sucks. but usually most people i see working there are infact native american. ive only lived in an area with a casino about 3 times, and so far this is true with all of them, however, im sure some of them do let people of another decsent work at the casino. im just going off my personal experience.BFROE|IndianScout wrote:
