I know that OpenOffice will happily read any M$ Office files but does anyone know a way to make M4 Office read OpenOffice files???
just save them as .rtf and youll be fine. (Unless your using some Open Office only feature.)
OpenOffice uses open formats when saving. MS does not. The only way for them to play well together is to use a format they both read and write. As mentioned above, .rtf will work. There may be others so do some digging.
'happily'... read: it fooks up everythin more complex than what a .txt has to offer... I personally dislike Open Office in any kind of way...4_Phucsache wrote:

+But for your origninal question, as others have mentioned, save it as something like .rtf or .xml.
Open office can save .doc files for MS word to open If that;s what you want to acheive?
