It does not, own one, a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro.
I don't use it because it's not supported by BF2 and a non force feedback is tighter. BF2 does not have a joystick dead zone, so if the FFB gears are worn at all flying striaght becomes a constant battle with the joystick as it flops around.
When plugged in it will sit there and stiffen like it should but cannot respond to game events, its simply not programmed in.

Sadly, not many games utilize force feedback for joysticks. While most racing games support force feedback for racing wheels, some very popular games with flying involved, such as Battlefield 1942 and BattleField 2, do not support force feedback. I recommend checking to see if the game(s) you want to use the joystick with support force feedback before you spend your money.

I have a Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner with Force Feedback. It works great with bf2. I had to install special joystick force feedback program for it to work, but it does work. You just have to know how to program it correctly.
WHat is this program you are talking about? A BF2 program or a joystick program?general_rookie wrote:

yes just one with a good centering spring, nothing is more importend then that, and get forcefeedback, you wont be playing bf2 forever..... (maybe you will, then ignore this)Vintageologist wrote:

Basically I'll either get the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro or the Force 3D Pro... tested it (the're the same expect for color and FF) and it felt nice, don't know how it performs ingame though, but I've been using Logitch stuff forever, so I assume it's of good quality.a fly wrote:
