motherboard - p5ad2-e premium
cpu - p4 3.2 ghz
audio - creative x-fi extrememusic

alright, the cpu prob doesn't matter, but i posted it anyways.

I need to know if someone out there has this motherboard and audio card and can get their VOIP to work, cause I have spent countless hours trying to fix my VOIP problem. In an infantile rage I have just destroyed my headphones/mic, and my pc may be next.

plugged in correctly? right drivers?

im not sure, but with the audigy card, there comes a volume control, where you can set what you want for recording sound, this can be "what you hear" "wave" "microphone" ect. set it to microphone.

and try turning the ONBOARD soundcard of in the bios, if you are not comfy with doing that, get the manual and follow thier steps if its in, i believe there is a guide somewhere by badhq to do that.

Different setup, no VoiP and I know it's not my fault, just more crappy code from EA and DICE
