this is the second forum ive joined, the first was one on coolroms.com. this is an emulation site, for those of you who dont know what emulation is ill explain.

emulation is being able to emulate/play cosole games on your pc, now this is illegal for the psx and upwards.
but for things like sega genisis and snes are all legal. i no you all can rember those old skool games u used to love such as mario, sonic and mabey even sunset riders, i can show u the way to relive these games on ur pc.
now id thought id introduce u to this and if your intersted ill post a guide to how to set up the sega master syestm/genisis emulator (and ill own ur asses on streets of rage)

Ahh yes. I have an NES, SNES, and Gameboy emmulator on my flash drive complete with a library of games. Whenever im on a comp at school (which is alot) and i get bored, i just pop that baby in and start playing. Ahhh... videogames in school, always used to be just a dream... ahh.... good times, gooooood times...

there are no ps2 or xbox emulator out at the moment, i can emulate psx or dreamcast but u will have to pm me if you want them seeing as its illegal n all

Oldest console i have is my Nintendo 64.

get the emulator from here (zsnes)

then get the roms/game for it from here

then open the emulator the click file/open (then find the rom u dl)

yeh ive gt one set up but the fps is not worth bothering with, its way too slow and their no CDRoM suport with it so u have to dl the games which are huge

i'm looking for "the adventures of link" ,an old NES-game, as emulation for the pc. do you know where to get? by the way: how is all this emulation done? do you link the consoles to the pc and load the games, than converting them or how do i have to imagine that? i'm curious!

emulation is bascily ur pc pretending to be a consloe, u dl the emulator and roms and then play them on ur pc.

Okay, So I am confused. i try dl'ing something to play and it says click below to start dl. Then it proceeds to say that it is ESA protected and I can't dl it. Is there no way to dl it then?

either way, i just dled project 64, and i think its freaking awsome! I had this old controller for pc, and it works awsome, especially for goldeneye and SSB. now i think i might get an snes one too.
