Interesting grenade bug?

Lately in SF i have noticed what could be a bug with grenades. Several times i have throw grenades at someone capping a flag in a corner for it to kill them instantly and then explode 3 seconds or so later. I was under the impression that actually hitting people with the grenades didn't do any damage. Has this happened to any of you guys as well?

yup, a weird bug for me is, sometimes when i throw them, they dissapear into the ground, esp on the carrier

Happens to me on reg. BF2 sometimes.On Dragon Valley at the woodyard i tossed a frag thru a window at a tango and watched it bounce off his dome and kill him before it detonated.

Yeah, what they said. Hitting somebody with any kind of grenade (Hand, Flash Bang, Smoke, maybe even Gas) does damage as far as I know, head shot count too.

i think you can also kill people with smoke grenades...very funny to watch
