My guess is they were hiding from GotMex? by staying far away from the action. When GotMex? was killed (by TerrificSoldier in the last screenshot) they realized the coast was clear so they were running out to fight for 15 seconds. They were throwing grenades at you because they wanted no witnesses to their cowardice.

If I had to guess...I'm thinking he was going for a medic badge...which is stupid because as stated before he would be losing a lot more points from tk's. Not to mention it looks like they are on Karkand and should be able to get all the revives they need.

My conclusions:

I know what they were doing (I think), I've seen it done before. One idiot gets a friend to make a fake account and then they go on a server and the one friend is support and gernades himself then the person with the real account will revive him. So one person will have around -150 and the other will have +150.
