Ok me and another clan member want to make a clan video. I assume most ppl use the battlefield recorder to get the good angles and footage.

First question: How do I set up BFR for my server?
Second: Is BFR the best way to get your footage.
Third: We have fraps and a guy who is pretty good with editing is there a better program?

Any info or input would be greatly appreciated. It's all kind of new to me.
Thanks BF2S.com for the cool site.

you can enable the recorder via BF2cc (theres a tab for it and everything), or if you are running the dedicated server launcer, use this command

Code:

sv.autoRecord 1
0=Off and 1=on, obviously. that will save it into a folder in your Bf2 folder in my documents.

yes, the BFR is the best way to get footage...you can get great first-person shots using this command in the developer console while playing (no BFR for this)

Code:

renderer.drawHUD 0
again, turn it on again by replacing the 0 with a 1.

fraps is what you use to record your video, and if you look into it (ive done it, but can't remember how), you can remove the tags above everyones head...kinda useful

there are several editing platforms...Sony Vegas (6.0 is the latest) and Adobe Premiere Pro (2.0 latest) on the PC and Final Cut Pro HD (5.0 latest) for macintosh (arguably the best program of the three, but only for mac.
