Chuy what's with the Cents per Hour thing and the $50 base thing I'm seeing at the bottom of all the stat pages? Your doing a great job at it all. I'll hopefully be donating some money this weekend.

DERERLEUCHTETE created an ASP.net solution, and said he was willing to share. Use this email link for your request. Although the link he provided in his post is broke, he may be willing to help you. I suspect that the recent changes to the feed, messed up his page. Good luck.

NM156, Thank you very much. I have tried your mod to the xml feed. and it rocks. I have added the extra feilds (KILLS, DEATHS,KDR,WINS,LOSSESS,WLR) to the table along with a country's field. for which i can complete, lol. Also because the clan i am in doesnt really have set squads i have made an option to seperate the groups by clan status as opposed to squads.
Thanks chuy for the xml feed and thanks NM156 for your mod. Hope to have something uploaded soon. when i do i post a link.
cheers

Thanks man.. I appreciate it. I suppose I should update the code in my download link. Totally forgot about that. I don't know if you run a Nuke site(I don't personally), but I've got a modules written, with tons of options. As soon as I know more about the new expansion, I'll release it here.
cool. Yeah at present clan running a nuke site. i am coding a larger clan module and this has intergrated nicely with that.
right bed for me.

You're going to need a web site that supports PHP, or some other form of dynamic scripting(CGI/ASP/etc). If it's one of those cheesy free sites, you may not have PHP capabilities. Simple HTML will not work for this purpose.
Do you have a link you can provide to your clan's web site? You have to give us more details about your site, before anyone can help you.

I think it is a cheasy free website:P Well, here it is anyway: www.alphabf2.tk
Sorry bud: http://members.freewebs.com/page.jsp?page=faqs#asp
Unless you have their Premium Services package(not free), you won't be able to do this on your web site. Can I run ASP scripts? Can I use ColdFusion?
Due to security reasons, we do not allow these types of applications and scripts to be run on our servers. You can however link to remote scripts from your website.
What about MySQL, MSACCESS, and PHP?
Unfortunately, Freewebs does not offer these functions.
Can I use CGI and Perl scripts?
We do support these types of scripts. CGI/Perl accounts are specially created for users and can be signed up for after logging in from the Premium Services page.
You can use the Email or PM link... right below my name.
Make sure when you upgrade to go with a larger company since you're new. They provider better support. I use ASmallOrange.com for my other shared hosting.
Hey guys - I am getting the following error when trying to use the xml script aTi|saunders put together. What versions or php.ini settings do I need to get it to write the cache files? Or is there something else?
I have set permissions correctly but for some reason it won't write to the cache folder.
Code:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /index.php on line 28
If you add more PID's then it takes time to update. The foreach that grabs the PID's tries to grab those but it cant because the XML only updates every 2 hours.rezyn8 wrote:

I get this question alot and it will be fixed when the XML feed updates.
hey guys,
NM156 here is a link to my mod of yours. i have changed your squadgroup to be different groupings. ie: group by clan status and rank for now. maybe when the clan get more established we shalll be having some squads. then add that option to drop down. Anyway's cheers and apologies if the server is slow. we having some issues and are changing hosts soon

That's pretty damn sweet, nice job man! I never thought about having separate group options like that.
nice one cheers.
the groups will work for any group array you throw at it. as long as the group array correctly parsed into a multidimensional array. One thing to consider when doing this was each time another group is selected the parsed pid string is different. Same pid's just in a different order so the result is a new cache filename. This was no good ofcourse so I get all the pids from my members table(db) ordered by pid aan pass that to the mlb->get() function. Then i create the group arrays seperatly using ORDER BY 'group type' on sql. Then create the relevant groups array accordingly. So now any group returned is always using the same cache file instead of creating a new one for each group type. Any new clan members they just get inlcluded on next update.
For now i just used clan status and rank to group by. But will be adding more at some point. Like weapon / map / kit / army etc. so you can check yourself aginst all members who have the same favourite kit / map etc.
I am new to php and programming in general so this been fun to do.

Hey Chuy,
Great work!
Is there any chance on getting an awards only feed? Perhaps something that is restricted to allow queries once every 12 hours or so? Manually updating player awards is a nightmare so it would be great to run a script to do this.

I've been working on some things having to do with EA stats and SQL. I must say that i now understand why jeff cant release XML versions of the feed with awards. I would even find it dificult to build Awards into my portal yet i have the awards in SQL. Though i have to say that with the current data involved he is doing a great job.
So be happy with what you have.
